Rattan Storage Bench – sorry no longer available

To ensure the raw
fibre-reactive rattan is supple enough for weaving, individual reed
lengths are submerged for days at a time in rain water contained in clay
hollows to which various organic soils and vegetation is added as a
natural dye. This colouring method not only provides an earthen quality
to this appealing furniture but also ensures that the harvesting for
production process remains entirely eco-friendly and free of chemicals
or pollutants. Using traditional methods rattan furniture is then
handcrafted by skilled weavers meaning no two pieces are alike. This
makes this product entirely unique.
